Wade Jackson. About Me, Background
Wade is a double world improvisation champion and founding member of The Improv Bandits, world-renowned improvised comedy act. Fluent in Japanese, Wade has three internationally recognised black belts in martial arts and has studied Zen Shiatsu, Japanese acupressure massage based on Traditional Chinese Medicine. With a post-graduate Diploma in Drama, Wade is also a registered clinical Hypnotherapist and certified Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) practioner who has studied Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT). He is currently studying towards his PhD in Health Science in Mind-Body Health Care.
Wade has acted in film, television and on stage internationally, had his own radio show and has been interviewed by every major publication, television and radio station in NZ. He understands NZ Sign Language and is a proud sponsor of CanTeen and the Foundation of Youth Development. He has been a doorman at a nightclub while going through University and is a qualified aerobics instructor. Wade also once had the demanding job of being the choreographer for the Miss NZ Beach Girl beauty pageant for four consecutive years.
